APHCV is awarded funding for Provider Recruitment Program by L.A. Care
L.A Care Health Plan awards APHCV with funding for the Provider Recruitment Program two cycles in a row! We are so grateful that L.A. Care has chosen APHCV
L.A. Care is one of the largest publicly operated health plans in the country and has been working to address the physician shortage in L.A. County. During the month of October 2020, APHCV was announced as one of the awardees for the seventh round of awardees for two new Providers. Later in January 2021, APHCV was yet again announced as one out of 21 awardees in L.A. Care’s eighth round of Provider Recruitment Program funding. Each new physician that was recruited into the safety net can serve as many as 2,000 patients!
Thank you to L.A. Care for the continued support of APHCV!
Below are APHCV’s new Providers who have been recruited through L.A. Care’s Safety Net Funding.
